WHO WE ARE

 

Tyler Area Senior Citizens Association (TASCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to    meeting the social and personal needs of the growing population of senior citizens in the Tyler area and surrounding communities. Currently 390 members strong  and growing at the rate of 10-15 new members per month! Located behind UT Tyler’s Ornelas Center on Old Omen Road.

WHAT WE NEED

 

 

Help and Support in the following areas:

Þ Web Design

Þ Desktop Publishing

Þ Access Database Support

Þ Program Management

Þ Event Planning

Þ Inventory Control

Þ Event Set Up

Þ Reception / Administration

Þ Instructors 

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Volunteer in one or more areas. You can apply knowledge obtained from your experience and academic studies to real life applications and situations. 

BENEFITS TO YOU

Earn credit for community service and add experience to your resume or portfolio.  Interact with and make lasting relationships with outgoing and fun seniors. A little bit of your time can make a huge difference in the life of another. Also offers long term leadership roles. We will provide    orientation and training.

Your help will go a long way toward helping us provide quality programs for our community and the citizens who live here.  With you, we can make more programs available and improve the success of our organization. 

WHEN

In your free time, at your convenience. As much, or as little time as you would like to offer. You select the days and times that best fit your schedule.
