Potluck Dinners

Pot Luck Dinners are held monthly on the first Monday evening at 6:00 PM at the TASCA Activity Center. One of our most popular activities, there is anywhere from 80 to 120 at this event. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share. Beverages are furnished. A general business meeting is held during this time to let everyone know the latest news. There is always an entertaining program of some sort.



We have been fortunate in the past to have had some very interesting and rich talent provide entertainment at our past Potluck Dinners.

September 2008—Mr. John Sykes, General manager and CEO of the Texas State Fair Association  
October 2008—David’s Song, a men’s gospel music group
 
March 2009—Judy Griffith, in a one-woman comedy act called “Musings of a Midlife Misfit”  
September 2009—Ray Blevin’s Band  
February 2010—The famous and infamous JB Smith, Sheriff of Smith County  
July 2010—A quartet from The Singing Men of Tyler
